Job Title: Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in Manchester. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and compliance support to our clients. You will work closely with our Senior International Tax Manager to ensure that all tax matters are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain financial and tax data from international accounting teams, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize technology and systems to manage day-to-day compliance.
  • Review international VAT returns and liaise with overseas finance teams.
  • Take a lead on international corporation tax returns and filings.
  • Research and explain complex tax legislation to internal stakeholders.
  • Reconcile accounts and calculate profit to be reported to senior stakeholders.
  • Assist with calculation of partner foreign tax payments and availability of foreign tax credits.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or qualified with a reputable professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA or others.
  • 2+ years of experience in a tax role, with a strong understanding of international tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and accounting technology systems.
  • Ability to travel to Manchester as required.
