Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Construction Industry

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Chandler Harris Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and hiring our range of non-mechanical access equipment to small and large contractors in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and hire our range of non-mechanical access equipment, including scaffolding equipment, fencing, hoarding, safety equipment, and edge protection.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, including main and sub-contractors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
  • Work closely with our depot/branch team to ensure seamless sales and hire processes.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of our business.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field sales within the construction industry.
  • Previous experience of selling to main and sub-contractors, ideally in the scaffolding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and its key players.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
