DNEG is seeking a skilled Animation Artist to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality animation for feature films.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement animation techniques to bring characters to life, ensuring consistency and cohesion with the project's vision.
  2. Collaborate with the animation team and other departments to refine and improve animation quality, adhering to project deadlines.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest animation software and techniques, applying this knowledge to enhance animation quality and efficiency.
  4. Participate in team meetings and contribute to creative discussions to drive project success.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in feature film animation or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of animation principles, character acting, and storytelling.
  4. Proficiency in animation software such as Maya, Blender, or equivalent.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to take direction and implement feedback effectively.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Knowledge of rigging and character setup.
  2. Familiarity with visual effects pipelines and workflows.
  3. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
