About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team at The Sterling Choice. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving process excellence and operational efficiency across our food manufacturing site in East Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and a proven track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance
  • Provide coaching and training to production staff on continuous improvement methodologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
