Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Fountaindale. As a valued member of our class team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils with profound and multiple learning needs, complex physical and medical needs, and sensory needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with their personal and postural care needs
  • Promote pupil independence and encourage participation in learning activities
  • Follow individual behaviour management strategies and support children to access learning
  • Work collaboratively with the class team to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
  • Good basic education and willingness to undertake training to enhance skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Passion for learning new skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development
