Position Overview

Due to ongoing expansion, we are currently looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to become a vital part of our Payroll division at Culina Group.

In this role, you will deliver a thorough and precise payroll support service that encompasses the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.

As the chosen candidate, your contributions will be essential to the overall success of our operations, and you will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with working hours from Monday to Friday, specifically 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Monday and Tuesday, and 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM from Wednesday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities of the Compensation and Benefits Specialist include:

Manage the processing of monthly and weekly payrolls, ensuring accurate calculations and timely input of timesheets and expense claims, adhering to established protocols. Maintain accurate records of attendance and absence, ensuring that all statutory and contractual payments are calculated and entered into the HR and Payroll systems promptly. Set up and manage statutory and third-party deductions within the payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Generate and distribute payroll-related reports as required by the Payroll Manager. Oversee the payroll inbox, addressing and resolving queries efficiently. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a professional and effective service is provided to all employees. Address wage-related inquiries through the transport management system. Ensure accurate data entry for hours worked, sickness, and absence for all staff members.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Compensation and Benefits Specialist, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in payroll processing. Proficiency in spreadsheet applications. Strong attention to detail. Good command of MS Office Excel. Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively. Consistent and timely completion of tasks with minimal disruption. High accuracy in payroll processing with minimal errors. Self-motivated, confident, and diligent work ethic. Payroll Level 3 certification is advantageous. Familiarity with iTrent software is a plus.
