Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: Identify and resolve issues with CNC equipment, using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment is running at peak performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance data.

Requirements:

  • Education: Level 3 or above in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Proven maintenance experience in a production/industrial setting, with a mechanical bias and experience with CNC equipment.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including single and three-phase motors, servo controls, and PLCs. Experience with welding and fabricating is a plus.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
