Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Brand Manager to join our team at Unilever, a leading global FMCG company. As a key member of our brand management team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our biggest brand in Home Care, Persil.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and brand management, with a proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and projects. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Brand Manager in implementing the UK brand strategy and developing marketing programs, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in implementing the UK brand strategy and developing marketing programs.
  • Assist with the commercial delivery of the brands, including monitoring and reporting on market performance and action planning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovations, including pack price architecture optimisations and post-launch evaluations.
  • Deliver campaigns and marketing activities, collaborating across functions, teams, and agencies to deliver strong digitally led, omnichannel marketing plans.
  • Craft content with a digital-first mindset and work closely with the Digital Hub team to deliver this with excellence to consumers, tracking and monitoring performance to optimise and adapt.
  • Represent Home Care within the business, providing key insights on brand and project performance and plans.
  • Present to retailers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets with attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of leading teams to execute challenging and complex projects.
  • Ability to work confidently and productively with multiple cross-functional teams, with strong communication, presentation skills, and stakeholder influencing abilities.
  • Balance of creativity and science, with a strong business mindset and commercial acumen.
  • Numeracy and data analysis skills for insight development.
  • Hungry to understand the nuances of new categories and emerging channels, with high standards, attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Consumer-centric approach, with a passion for our brand and a willingness to learn and proactively develop.
