About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with various SEN needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as behavioural difficulties.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a mainstream setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and flexible individual with a passion for supporting students with SEN.
