Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Series Built Engineer to join our client on a long-term temporary assignment for approximately 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving quality issues within the supplied parts landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and resolve quality issues within the supplied parts landscape, following defined processes to raise Initial Complaint Reports and Supplier 8D landscape requests.
  2. Verify that quality instructions, level 0 activities, and work instructions issued for quality issues are correct.
  3. Communicate problem landscapes clearly to suppliers and engage with Quality Management Parts (QMTs) and supplier representatives to steer problem resolution processes.
  4. Ensure third-party sorting actions are dealt with efficiently and effectively, and containment activity is transferred to suppliers as quickly as possible.
  5. Provide cross-functional support to process partners with respect to problem analysis and module meetings, ensuring clear communication of quality topics within the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Possession of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent education is required.
  2. Proven capability to apply quality problem-solving tools efficiently is essential.
  3. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
  4. Electronic expertise (E&E) is essential for the role, with a deep understanding of components within vehicles, such as head units, display units, ECUs, and software networks.
