Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Whittan Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing employees, achieving production targets, and implementing lean manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead production activities and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Create and execute daily and weekly production schedules, reporting any deviations to the Operations Manager.
  • Monitor output and respond to production issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement training and development plans for Team Leaders, including regular performance reviews.
  • Conduct HR processes such as absence management, return to work, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor and support Team Leaders in ensuring training and upskilling of associates.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate shift handovers.
  • Manage agreed overtime budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques, including 5S, 6 Sigma, SMED, TPM, and OEE.
