Salary: Up to £45,000
Sunblink, a leading provider of eye care services, is looking for a proficient and dedicated Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to enhance our surgical team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of patient care within our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Duties:
- Support surgeons during various ophthalmic surgical procedures
- Prepare and uphold sterile environments for surgeries
- Handle and organize surgical instruments and tools
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all surgical interventions
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with valid NMC/HCPC registration
- At least 2 years of experience in a scrub nurse role, ideally within ophthalmology
- Comprehensive understanding of ophthalmic surgical techniques and instruments
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
