Babcock is a leading provider of engineering services, and we're seeking a skilled CI&E Engineer to join our team in Rosyth. As a CI&E Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of large-scale process-engineering projects for our key customers.

The Role:

You will be responsible for performing all Control, Instrumentation & Electrical (CI&E) tasks in support of winning and delivering projects. This will involve preparing calculations, data sheets, specifications, schedules, and drawings, as well as coordinating with other business departments to achieve project objectives and deliverables schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing calculations, data sheets, specifications, schedules, and drawings as required
  • Coordinating with other business departments to achieve project objectives and deliverables schedules
  • Actively supporting the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and other policies and procedures

Essential Experience:

  • CI&E experience in either a project engineering or design engineering role
  • Design engineering experience in the layout of E&I control panels
  • Proven track record on PLC & HMI programming
  • Familiarity with Siemens/Allen Bradley/GE IP (or equivalents) PLC hardware and software packages
  • Knowledge of remote monitoring system protocol and development

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
