Caretaker Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Caretaker to join our team at Kentisbeare Primary School. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the school premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards
- Responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role, including inventory and safe storage
- Support with general maintenance issues and site security
- Perform minor handyman duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential
- Capable of delivering a high level of customer service
- Confident working both on your own and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with the client
- Comfortable engaging with members of the public
