Job Title: Chief Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems to ensure the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes with design and development activities
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process instructions and technical specifications
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  • Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21
  • Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • BEng in relevant Engineering Degree
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Be highly motivated and enthusiastic, to create/maintain a high performing team
  • Be a recognised point of contact for manufacturing enquiries through the deployed team
  • Must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and commitment to work to meet our delivery milestones.
