Senior Support Worker Opportunity

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in North Petherton. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to individuals, promoting independence and empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the Manager to supervise and manage the service, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, and support with supervision.
  • Order medication and assist with financial management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
