Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supporting Education Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of students in a year 6 class on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students within the classroom, helping them stay focused on tasks and achieve their academic goals.
  • Lead small group intervention sessions to prepare students for their SATS, promoting a culture of excellence and high expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to identify and address learning gaps, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Assist in the management of classroom behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the development of students' social and emotional skills, helping them become confident and independent learners.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and positive attitude, with a passion for education and student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
  • Ability to recognize and address learning gaps, providing targeted support to students in need.
