Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Transport division at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing varied tasks, including supporting Transport Managers, ensuring vehicle legality and roadworthiness, and carrying out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and assist Transport Managers to ensure smooth operation of the transport division.
  • Ensure vehicles are always legal and roadworthy, completing daily checks and reporting any defects.
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Complete manual and pallet pump truck work as required.
  • Drive vehicles safely and within tachograph law and driver hour limits.
  • Ensure correct goods are loaded and secure before moving vehicles.
  • Check goods off with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Be aware of vehicle inspection rota and report any necessary maintenance to Transport Managers.
  • Maintain DCPC periodic training hours within the five-year period.
Requirements
  • At least two years Class 2 driving experience and valid Class 2 license.
  • Full valid driving license, Digi-Tacho holder, DQC card holder, and Driver CPC.
  • Good driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Numerical and focused on accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate tail lift and PPT.
  • Multi-drop experience.
