About the Role

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a proficient Electrical Installation Specialist to become a valuable member of our client's building services team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical installations within both commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the installation of electrical systems, which includes wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, in accordance with project specifications and technical drawings.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that installations are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Conduct electrical testing and commissioning to confirm the functionality and safety of the installed systems.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain precise records of installations, including materials utilized, labor hours, and project documentation.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices as necessary.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate must possess a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification.
  • Must be qualified to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrical Inspection & Testing 2391, and AM2 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Installation Electrician or in a similar capacity within the building services sector.
  • Full UK driving license is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
