We are looking to recruit a Consultant in Rheumatology to join our esteemed team. This role will involve providing comprehensive Rheumatology services, supported by advanced facilities and a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work closely with a group of experienced professionals, including 8 Consultants and a dedicated team of nursing staff, pharmacists, and therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and outcomes in Rheumatology.
- Participate in the development of innovative Rheumatology services for a diverse population.
- Engage in educational initiatives, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate training programs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance Rheumatology services for a community of approximately 400,000 individuals. The department values subspecialty interests, particularly in areas such as axial spondyloarthropathy and psoriatic arthritis, and encourages collaboration with Primary Care.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold full GMC registration and a license to practice, with a minimum of 10 years of full-time postgraduate training, including 6 years in a relevant specialty. Equivalent experience and competencies will also be considered.
