We are currently seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in conducting thorough inspections and audits of both raw materials and finished goods to ensure adherence to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Make decisions to approve or reject raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods based on defined quality criteria.
  • Identify and report non-conformities related to documentation, processes, or products, ensuring timely communication with relevant departments.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform internal audits according to the scheduled plan.
  • Manage the calibration system for equipment to guarantee precise performance.
  • Supervise the quarantine area and maintain related documentation.
  • Implement efficient waste management practices.
  • Conduct daily quality assessments and safety audits to identify non-conformances and potential risks.
  • Keep accurate records of quality control inspections, test outcomes, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide training and support to manufacturing staff on quality protocols and health and safety measures.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs and/or A levels in Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in quality control, manufacturing, environmental compliance, or a similar field, ideally within the cosmetics or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Environmental Management Systems (EMS) is a plus.
