Position Overview

Are you a skilled educational administrator seeking a new opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently in search of a SIMS proficient School Administrative Coordinator for a secondary educational institution.

Role Details

This is a permanent, full-time position that includes responsibilities during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reception duties as needed, addressing general inquiries via telephone and in-person, and managing visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance, including photocopying, filing, emailing, and responding to routine correspondence directed to the headteacher, staff, and governors.
  • Assist in maintaining both manual and computerized records using the SIMS/FMS system.
  • Generate pupil data and assessment reports from SIMS as required.
  • Prepare necessary documents or data for meetings.
  • Support the school's safeguarding systems and communicate relevant issues to appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of six weeks of experience working with children, supported by references.
  • Experience in a school office environment utilizing SIMS.
  • Full knowledge of SIMS and other ICT applications, such as Excel, databases, spreadsheets, and school communication systems.
