We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our court buildings and providing a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

Main Responsibilities

* Complete pre-planned maintenance work to a high standard and efficiently address any reactive tasks across the portfolio within specified service level agreements.
* Work safely and in accordance with HSE guidance, complying with all applicable Codes, Regulations, and Company Policies related to building operations and work safety.
* Complete maintenance and repair records as required, reviewing assigned work orders and estimating time and materials needed to complete repairs.
* Work on the customer CAFM system to receive and complete jobs, and operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade and motor vehicle.
* Maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition, and maintain parts and tool inventory.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

* Secondary education, high school graduate.
* Minimum C & G craft qualification in core trade is preferable with 2 years post-apprenticeship experience as Joiner, Carpenter, Plasterer, Roofer, Floorer, and mechanical.
* Act as Mechanical AP.
* Health and Safety Training in relevant areas.
* Must understand how things work (facility-related).
* Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors.
* Initiative-taker and collaborator.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks.
* Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
* Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
* Ability to explore a situation, assess, and offer different options to formulate a plan that meets or exceeds objectives and expectations.
* Driving License.
