Job Summary:
ProTalent is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join a dynamic and fast-growing accountancy firm in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the onsite audit team, supervising junior team members, and liaising with client finance teams to ensure the completion of assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading the onsite audit team and supervising more junior team members to ensure the successful completion of assignments.
- Review financial statements and prepare audit reporting for presentation to those charged with governance.
- Attend planning and clearance meetings to ensure the smooth execution of audits.
- Ensure assurance quality at all times and compliance with the firm's procedures.
- Report to the assignment manager and liaise directly with the director/partner responsible for the engagement.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, identifying any contentious issues and proposing solutions.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in practice.
- At least 6 years of UK practice experience.
- Previous experience operating at Audit Supervisor level.
- Proven experience of producing high-quality audits.
- Excellent client relationship skills.
- Aptitude to assist with business development activities.
- Highly commercial approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach, prepared to go the extra mile.
- Strong IT skills.
- Enjoy developing more junior staff.
