Autism Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Hull. As a key member of our SEN team, you will work closely with children with Autism, providing individualized support and promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with Autism, developing personalized plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote social and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.1 degree in Psychology or a related field from a Top 20 UK University.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
  • Passion for working with children and commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
