About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment to prevent accidents and maintain efficiency.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
  • Represent Chartwells - Independent and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Comply with Food Handling and Hygiene standards and Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Be an excellent team player with a committed and organized approach.
  • Have a desire to succeed in your role and possess the ability to work under pressure.
  • Be flexible to work shifts and demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
