Job Title: Integrated Pest Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Pest Management Specialist to join our Crop Protection team at RSK Group. As an IPM Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and managing large integrated pest management projects, working across disciplines to develop and demonstrate cost-effective approaches as part of holistic IPM strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and manage all aspects of existing IPM projects, including planning and delivering project meetings, developing knowledge exchange materials, and reporting on project milestones.
  • Clear communication with stakeholders, project partners, and funders, ensuring that project objectives are met and that all parties are informed and engaged.
  • Work independently and with project partners/ADAS colleagues to market and promote project materials and outputs, developing a good profile and reputation within and outside ADAS.
  • Support senior and principal consultants to develop new project ideas and proposals, as well as your own, ensuring that all projects are well-planned, managed, and deliverable.
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) or MSc in a relevant subject, such as agriculture, biological sciences, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience of IPM research and dissemination in the UK, with a strong understanding of crop production and integrated pest management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work across a range of internal groups and external organisations, and to manage multi-partner, international projects.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets and to write clear, logical, and persuasive reports and bids.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including growers, scientists, and practitioners.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of £27k to £35k per annum, depending on experience.
