Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our industry-leading team at RHL Construction and Property. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical building services design engineering solutions for a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out detailed mechanical building services design engineering on new build and refurbishment construction projects.
- Assisting senior staff in feasibility studies, concept, and scheme design stages.
- Attending design team meetings and collaborating with other staff members.
- Inspecting and reporting on mechanical building services systems.
- Undertaking mechanical design work, including surveys, design, drawings, and specifications for projects.
- Working in conjunction with other design team members to ensure the design and maintenance of building systems meet legislative and health and safety requirements.
- Utilizing building services software for calculations.
- Producing marked-up drawings for CAD by others or direct CAD design drawings for issue.
- Selecting and specifying products, equipment, and installation standards relating to mechanical services suitable for costing and installation by contractors.
