About the Company: White Label Recruitment Ltd is collaborating with a distinguished and leading manufacturing firm that specializes in the production of customized machinery.

Position Overview: The organization is expanding its design team and is in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to innovative design projects across the entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 3D SolidWorks CAD software to design components and assemblies, along with producing detailed 2D assembly drawings.
  • Work closely with electrical design and controls engineers to define system requirements.
  • Assist in machine commissioning processes to ensure successful Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Provide regular updates on project status to project leads for effective planning.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including risk assessments and operational manuals.
  • Occasionally support on-site customer meetings and project scoping activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), ideally using SolidWorks Simulation.
  • Background in the design and construction of bespoke or special-purpose machinery.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
