About the Role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our customers and patients. You will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and supporting the Pharmacy Manager in delivering exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private services to customers
  • Play an active role in our charity support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to ensure seamless patient care
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Passion for leading and empowering a team
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • DBS check (organized by Tesco) before employment
