Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault finding and rectification of building services and facilities.
  • Supporting the contract management and administration team through the operations office, dealing with day-to-day engineering and contract issues.
  • Resolving problematic persistent recalls and undertaking quality control checks on reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, end-users, and other stakeholders.
  • Working flexibly to meet client and business requirements, including responding to emergency situations.
  • Maintaining health and safety records and ensuring good practice.
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the relevant manager.
  • Performing various non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks.
  • Closing and updating completed planned maintenance tasks on the CAFM system.
  • Ensuring adherence to company QA and site procedures.
  • Following company and site health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
  • Inspecting the condition of services and proactively dealing with call-outs and repairs.
  • Working at high levels, including in plant rooms, and maintaining all company-issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
  • Contributing to the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within the building services sector.
  • Current full UK driving license.
  • A good awareness of health and safety working practices.
  • A flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and targets.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
