We are seeking a highly skilled Software Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Software Design Authority, ensuring quality standards are met and providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
  • Lead, empower, and draw the best from the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Work with members of the Group to identify potential improvement opportunities and support their implementation.
  • Maintain and communicate the current project schedule, coordinating with the team to meet delivery milestones and prioritizing as needed.
  • Responsibility for the generation of quarterly teamwork load forecasts.
  • Liaise directly with both internal and external customers.
  • Awareness of allocated project budgets and ensuring they are used efficiently.
  • Support the creation of project and release documentation.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will be qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience in a Physics or Engineering based subject, such as Electronics, Hardware, Computer Science, Software, or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in the Defence/Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • Able to innovate and think critically to solve complex software problems.
