Financial Reporting Accountant

ICP Search is partnering with a global leader in the broadcasting and connectivity services industry to find a talented Reporting Accountant for their UK and Ireland team.

They partner with renowned media companies and broadcasters, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that supports career growth and professional development.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Reporting Accountant who can provide financial leadership and insight, driving the company's financial performance. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior management, deliver insightful financial analysis, and play a pivotal role in the company's financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports, investigating variances and providing insights to support business decisions.
- Lead the production of rolling cash flow forecasts and manage daily cash to ensure the company remains in a strong financial position.
- Oversee dashboard reporting, providing key metrics and KPIs to monitor performance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to help drive the company's financial planning. Partner with department heads to monitor performance and provide financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT, corporation tax, and financial statements.
- Contribute to tax strategy and collaborate with external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax advisers.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE, with 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and proven experience in financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with a passion for driving financial performance through data insights.
- Experience with US GAAP and accounting software like Sun, Proactis, Infor Q&A, and Concur would be an advantage.
