Compassionate Caregiver

Your role will involve working with a dedicated team in:
- Various local neighborhoods
We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
- 3 x Female Drivers
Our pay structure ensures you are compensated from the beginning of your shift until the end, rather than per visit.
Compensation: £12.50 per hour (for drivers)
- Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile for drivers
- Bonus opportunities: up to £300 for new starters, £300 for referrals, and an annual bonus of £300. Additionally, a £25 gift voucher for birthdays.
As a Personal Care Assistant with Be Caring, your working hours will align with our shift patterns, which include early mornings, late evenings, and weekend shifts:
- Late shift: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
We will establish a working pattern that includes:
- Alternating full weekends, or working every Saturday or Sunday
- Evening shifts as agreed
Benefits
- Fully funded background checks.
- Paid training program: one week of classroom training (Monday - Friday), followed by two days of shadowing and additional online modules.

Job Responsibilities
If you have experience caring for family or friends, you will excel as a Personal Care Assistant. Your responsibilities will include:

- Encouraging independence through supportive approaches.
- Delivering tailored care based on individual preferences.
- Communicating effectively, documenting, and sharing relevant information promptly.

Training Program
We seek individuals who embody the values of Be Caring. Whether you have direct experience or have cared for a loved one, we will equip you with the necessary training to excel as a Personal Care Assistant. Our comprehensive training includes:
- Understanding Be Caring values and commitment to personal outcomes.
- Training on dignity, respect, safeguarding, and diversity.
- Confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Nutrition, hydration, and safe medication administration.
- Safe moving and positioning techniques, basic life support, and pressure sore prevention.
- Infection control, health, and safety protocols.
- Understanding learning disabilities and mental health considerations.
