Job Description

Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Much Wenlock. As the sole Maintenance Engineer on site, you will be responsible for maintaining multiple production lines, working on both mechanical and electrical faults, and implementing a maintenance schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair production equipment, including filling machines, labelling machines, and packaging equipment
  • React to machine breakdowns and perform emergency repairs
  • Conduct planned and preventative maintenance tasks, including PPM
  • Implement a maintenance schedule to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Support the installation of new plant equipment and machinery
  • Monitor and maintain spares for production machinery

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • NQV level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven track record of maintaining production equipment and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
