About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at the Humber Facility. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering design solutions for our clients across various frameworks and projects.

As part of our Operations team, you will work closely with our Senior Designer and Project Management team to develop design deliverables into project schemes in accordance with British Standards and Client specifications.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing engineering concepts and design concepts into scheme drawings
  • Working alongside Electrical/Instrument Engineers and Project Managers to develop engineering concepts
  • Liaising with other engineering disciplines and client Engineering team members
  • Preparing and controlling project documentation in accordance with our in-house ISO 9001 Quality Procedures
  • Preparing drawings for design review meetings and attending HAZOPS as required

Requirements:

  • Electrical/Instrument ONC minimum
  • Competent in the use of 2D computer aided drafting packages (specifically AutoCAD)
  • Competent in the use of Amtech (Trimble) ProDesign cable calculation package
  • Knowledge of ATEX related design/installation requirements (preferable)
