Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Southampton

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £27,856 (average earnings £31,000)

Working Hours: 40 hours a week (occasionally working evenings/nights to support client requirements)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to work on a range of commercial projects in the Southampton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in various settings, including banks, schools, and retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards
  • Maintain and repair existing fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary, opportunities for overtime, and a bonus scheme that can increase average earnings to £31,000. Additional benefits include 31 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, company vehicle, and more.
