Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in Cowal Community Hospital. As a Band 5 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a designated clinical caseload, providing patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge from care.

You will work collaboratively with multi-professional teams to ensure coordinated care for patients and carers. Additionally, you will delegate tasks to Physiotherapy Support Workers and support students on clinical placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated clinical caseload, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge from care.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-professional teams to ensure coordinated care for patients and carers.
  • Delegate tasks to Physiotherapy Support Workers.
  • Support students on clinical placement.
  • Work in various settings, including MSK Out Patients, Community Hospital Admissions, Palliative and Rehab Wards, and Rehabilitation classes and Community setting.
Requirements
  • BSc Physiotherapy or above qualification and HCPC registration.
  • Experience in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, frailty, and falls prevention.
  • Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team with appropriate IT skills.
  • CSP membership, NHS experience, and knowledge of audit and working with HCSW and students are desirable.
