Job Title: Year 5 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Westminster. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students, promoting academic excellence, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

About the Role:
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and improvement.
  • Develop maths ability, introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry, and help children develop their writing skills by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.

  • Our school is a 2-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Westminster, easily accessible via the Bakerloo and overground lines.
  • We aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment, in addition to academic excellence.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, including experienced teachers and ECTs.
  • Ability to commute to Westminster via public transport.
  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
