About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Garment Technologist to join our team at Talent Guardian. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our garments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate design concepts into functional garments, collaborating with design, production, and suppliers to achieve high-quality results.
  • Advise on fabric, trim, and construction methods to ensure optimal fit and quality.
  • Conduct fittings and make technical adjustments to ensure garments meet our quality standards.
  • Set and maintain quality standards throughout production, collaborating with offshore suppliers on size grading and specifications.
  • Oversee fabric and garment testing for safety and compliance, troubleshooting production issues and providing technical solutions.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years' experience in a Garment Technologist or similar role, with a strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and fabric performance.
  • Proficiency in Excel/MS Office and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control, compliance standards, and testing procedures, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
