Role Overview:
As Food and Beverage Operations Manager at Pine Trees, you will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and innovation with the vision to seize sales opportunities. You will be dedicated to building and nurturing the team. You will take pride in crafting an extraordinary experience for our customers, ensuring that the highest level of customer care is delivered by the team.
You will be approachable and friendly; you will go above and beyond for our guests; you will provide consistently excellent service and lead by example.
As Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring the team delivers outstanding guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Coordinating and directing staff to ensure the provision of exceptional customer service within the dining and bar areas.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the dining and bar services, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, room service, and catering for larger events.
- Maximizing sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.
- Responding to audits conducted by the company to ensure continuous improvement is achieved.
- Managing the food and beverage budget concerning occupancy, departmental expenses, and staff schedules.
- Ensuring that all administrative, cash control, stock control, and security procedures are adhered to by yourself and team members.
- Recruitment and staff training.
- Planning schedules and holidays according to business levels and function requirements, ensuring we consistently deliver a high standard of service during peak periods while minimizing wage costs during low demand periods.
- Fostering a team environment that promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment, engagement, and pride in the department and hotel.
- Implementing and conducting regular checks to ensure all team members possess the necessary tools to successfully deliver excellent food and beverage service.
Starting the Journey
On your first day, you will embark on a structured 12-week learning journey, equipping you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Food and Beverage Operations Manager. With this in mind, we are seeking a Food and Beverage Operations Manager who:
- Has experience at a management level in the food and beverage service sector.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of dining and bar functions, including stock control, cellar management, dining operations, bar operations, and customer service.
- Can lead and motivate a team of Supervisors and Assistants in service delivery.
- Has previous experience in recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management of staff.
- Has an excellent understanding of Licensing Law, Health & Safety, and Allergen Legislation, ideally a Personal License holder or suitably qualified.
