Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic secondary school in Barnet. As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) on a 1 to 1 and group basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) on a 1 to 1 and group basis
  • Work closely with teachers and parents/carers to ensure the learning environment is suitable and effective
  • Assist with assessments and reporting in line with the requirements of children's Education, Health and Care plans (EHCP)
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with ASC in accessing the curriculum
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of pupils with ASC

The Special Resource Provision is a specialist unit within a larger secondary school, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils with ASC. The provision offers a range of educational and therapeutic programs to support pupils in achieving their full potential.
