Production Assembly Technician

Location: Permanent
Hours: 8:30am until 5pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000

Polytec Ltd. is seeking a skilled Production Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing RF products, ensuring high-quality standards compliant with ISO9001.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble and sub-assemble RF products, including light electromechanical assembly and prep work
  2. Perform RF and electrical testing using automated test software
  3. Maintain accurate schedules and work records
  4. Manufacture custom parts and/or cables as required
  5. Manage stock and component kits
  6. Support process and product improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  1. Ability to complete assembly work to high-quality standards compliant with ISO9001
  2. Understanding of mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and other documentation
  3. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  4. Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines within a team and on individual tasks

Desirable Skills:

  1. Good soldering skills
  2. Experience with RF testing
  3. Clean driving licence
