Senior Site Manager Job Description

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Manager to join our team. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a school renovation/new build project in Durham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise all trades and labour, as well as coordinate the activities of all trades and disciplines involved on the site.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise a large team and monitor and manage site budget and expenses.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and working processes is essential.
  • Strong experience working on school extensions/renovations and new build schools is required.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by clients or staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site activities.
  • Maintain the site diary and arrange meetings with customers/clients.
  • Toolbox talks are a must.
Requirements:
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid Certificate are mandatory.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and management skills are essential.
  • Proficient in using computer software related to site management.
