This role involves direct accountability to the registered provider for the efficient management of the Lodge, collaborating closely with the Deputy Manager to deliver exceptional leadership and guidance to our staff. Lakelands Lodge is committed to offering superior services, ranging from residential care to specialized nursing and dementia support.

As the Licensed Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Guaranteeing that all residents receive high-quality, individualized care
  • Being accountable for the Lodge's daily operations and activities, ensuring compliance with its registration
  • Ensuring that all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations are met and surpassed
  • Confirming that all personnel possess the necessary skills and competencies to foster a developmental environment within the Lodge
  • Providing robust supervision and support to all team members
  • Ensuring effective representation of the Lodge and fostering collaboration with local service providers
  • Cultivating an ethos that reflects the needs of residents and honors their unique differences
  • Acting as a representative for the Lodge, establishing strong communication channels
  • Managing staff and allocating budgets in line with established policies and procedures
  • Ensuring adequate staff coverage as per the requirements of the registered provider
  • Coordinating with external professionals, Lodge stakeholders, residents, and their families
  • Ensuring that effective referral protocols and practices are established and maintained

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • A nursing qualification or relevant nursing experience

  • A comprehensive understanding of current legal responsibilities and standards for the service
  • Familiarity with CQC regulations and standards in health and social care
  • Experience with CQC inspections.
