Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Coordinator to join our team at Directions Recruitment Specialists. As a Buying Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing Manager and the Buying team in the coordination and administration of buying and commercial support across multiple business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Buying team to support the delivery of sales, profitability, and stock-related KPIs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the business for buying-related support and queries.
  • Ensure that critical paths are managed and that all ranges are suitable and compliant.
  • Attend selected supplier previews to support the range building process.
  • Manage buying-related administrative tasks, including deranging and range updates.
  • Collaborate with the Buying, Marketing, and Quality Assurance teams to support the promotional calendar and trading plans.
  • Assist in the production of catalogues and other publications.
  • Ensure consistency across all channels.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced project demands.
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
