Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

Department: Finance

Responsible to: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage Purchase Ledger processing, query resolution, and payment runs

• Bank reconciliations and reconciliation of weighbridge reports

• Sales ledger management, including invoicing and credit control

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and other journals

• Preparation and submission of VAT return

• Assist with Annual Audit

• Assist with weekly Cash Flow reporting

Essential Characteristics:

• Organized, logical, and methodical approach

• Attention to detail

• Ability to multitask

• The ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Adaptive and able to learn quickly

• Good level of Excel

Desirable characteristics:

• AAT3 qualified or similar

The duties and responsibilities highlighted are indicative and may vary over time. The post holder will be expected to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level, and extent of the post and the grade that has been established on this basis.

Job Requirements:

• Full-time position

• Salary: £31,200.00 per year
