About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our dynamic team in Blackburn. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, working closely with clients to handle queries and resolve complex issues.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive problem solver, and hands-on team player with a solid understanding of current audit and general accounting regulations. You will be adept at working closely with senior auditors to deliver service excellence and have good communication skills, both written and verbally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a diverse portfolio of clients as the onsite project lead.
  • Complete higher risk audit elements and oversee the onsite audit team.
  • Be the key contact for various clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Lead quality control of output, reviewing and finalising work.
  • Work closely with the Audit Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met across the portfolio.
  • Further develop a solid understanding of current audit and general accounting regulations.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.
