Electro-Medical Field Service Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and calibration of laboratory imaging systems used in pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for laboratory imaging systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and calibrations of imaging systems, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical issues, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in laboratory imaging, ensuring our team's expertise remains current and competitive.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity, preferably in a high-value capital equipment environment.
- Strong technical background in electronics, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of ONC level qualification.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively, with occasional overnight stays.
