Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bus Cleaner to join our team at a large bus company in Glasgow. As a Bus Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweeping and cleaning the buses to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness
- Disposing of rubbish and recyclables in a responsible manner
- Mopping the floors and cleaning all surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
- Removing graffiti and any other forms of vandalism
- Wiping ledges and the drivers' cab to ensure a safe and clean environment for drivers and passengers
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but training can be provided
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
Working Hours:
The working hours for this role are 10pm-6am (night shift) or 5pm-1am (evening shift), 5 days over 7. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Salary:
The salary for this role is £11.94 per hour, with ongoing work available.
